Job summary

Videri is seeking an Electrical Designer to join a multidisciplinary team developing digital display products. You will report to the Sr. Director of Engineering and work with external partners to take products from concept to production.

This full-time, remote-first role involves collaboration with engineering, PM, product teams and manufacturing partners across North America, with occasional in-office presence based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• Experience with design, prototyping, validation, certification and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, prototyping, testing, validation, and integration of hardware products and display solutions.
• Develop electrical designs at PCBA and system level including power, processors, interfaces, and supporting circuitry.
• Translate requirements into electrical specifications, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Perform board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software teams for successful system integration.
• Support power architecture, distribution, and thermal considerations.
• Integrate display technologies and interfaces (LVDS, HDMI, eDP, MIPI, USB).
• Create and execute test and validation plans covering electrical and system performance.
• Support certification and compliance activities (UL/CSA, FCC, CE, EMC/EMI).
• Work with suppliers, CM, and development partners for prototyping and manufacturing transfer.
• Produce clear technical documentation including BOMs, drawings, and data packages.
