Job summary

ISG seeks an Electrical Designer in Green Bay, WI to craft electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. You will work with architects and engineers, designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.

As an Employee Owner, you’ll contribute to high-quality, efficient, and sustainable designs, ensuring compliance with codes and standards while collaborating with diverse ISG teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical design within the AEC industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform load calculations, circuiting, and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Review and apply relevant codes and standards.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and material take-offs.
• Participate in site visits and field investigations to verify existing conditions.
• Support construction administration by responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
