Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in engineering or a related technical field plus thirteen+ years of progressively complex engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.
• Experience in mixed-signal circuit design, power systems, and hardware systems including digital, analog, RF, laser, and optical components.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and technically lead engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with program managers and leadership to set objectives, schedules, quality, and budgets.
• Design, prototype, test and integrate power systems, controls and electronics across product lines.
• Develop design concepts, criteria and engineering effort plans for R&D and product development.
• Coordinate internal and external interfaces to resolve issues and advance projects.
• Prepare proposals, budgets and contractual documentation when needed.
• Develop electrical architecture solutions and perform analyses for system-level optimization.
• Communicate results and present technical information to management and customers.
