Job summary

SitelogIQ, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical design engineers within the Commercial Markets Division.

This hands-on technical leader ensures quality, consistency, and successful delivery of electrical infrastructure projects across multi-site portfolios. The role requires PE licensure, leadership, and extensive experience with Level 2 and DC fast-charging EV infrastructure, lighting, solar, energy storage, and standby generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with ability to obtain additional licenses.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience including design review and project delivery.
• Experience leading, supervising, and mentoring electrical engineers and designers.
• Strong experience with commercial, institutional, municipal, industrial, or distributed-energy electrical systems.
• Experience producing and reviewing construction drawings, specifications, calculations, studies, and cost estimates.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA energy codes, building codes, IEEE, and utility requirements.
• Experience coordinating with utilities and authorities having jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and designers.
• Assign projects and balance workloads based on priorities and complexity.
• Review engineering work and provide actionable feedback.
• Conduct performance reviews and career-development discussions.
• Support engineers pursuing licensure and expanded responsibilities.
• Foster a collaborative engineering culture.
• Direct electrical system studies, design development, and construction-document prep.
• Oversee Level 2 and DC fast-charging infrastructure projects.
• Ensure code compliance and quality across multiple sites and jurisdictions.
• Support procurement, commissioning, and field observations as needed.
• Manage utility interconnections for distributed generation projects.
