Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing MEP building systems.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of electrical distribution, lighting design, fire alarm systems, and applicable codes.
• Ability to produce complete electrical design packages including plans, one-lines, and panel schedules.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electrical building systems from concept through construction administration.
• Develop lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and design packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, panel scheduling, and system coordination.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and facility assessments.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during project execution.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical and plumbing engineers, owners, and contractors.
• Participate in QA reviews and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers to elevate technical standards.
• Manage multiple projects with quality, budget, and schedule.
