Job summary

Egan Company is seeking an Electrical Engineering & Design Intern for a 12-week summer program at our Champlin, MN headquarters. You’ll work with our Electrical Solutions & Prefabrication Team, gaining hands-on experience and attending intern events, with mentorship and a structured learning path.

The role emphasizes drafting, design and engineering tasks, AS well as collaboration with seasoned professionals and site shadowing opportunities. Remote work possible post onboarding.

Qualifications

• Pursuing 2- or 4-year degree in Electrical Construction Design & Management, CAD/Design, Architecture or Electrical Engineering.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Learn electrical drafting and modeling methods using Revit or AutoCAD MEP.
• Assist Designers and Engineers on design and engineering tasks for designated projects.
• Collaborate with project design team to plan, setup and work on design/build construction projects.
• Attend job site meetings and assist with estimating projects.
