Job summary

SJE Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer at our Madison, WI location to design large engineered control panels using AutoCAD Electrical for water and wastewater applications.

You will review specifications, produce bills of materials, and create manufacturing documentation while coordinating with Operations and Sales to ensure all information is gathered and understood. Relevant UL standards experience is required.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 1–2 years of experience, or a 2-year degree with 3–5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with UL508/698A standards and applications.
• Experience designing large engineered panels and creating BOMs and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design large engineered panels using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Review specifications and translate into bill of materials and manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and external customers to gather required information.
