Job summary

Wastech Systems & Ovivo Electronics USA by Ecolab is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical control panels for process systems using Autodesk AutoCAD 2D on-site in Chatsworth, CA. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to deliver compliant, efficient electrical designs that meet project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with UL508A and NEC standards.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels and systems using AutoCAD 2D in accordance with internal standards and UL requirements.
• Prepare detailed electrical wiring diagrams and panel layout drawings.
• Develop BOMs and select equipment based on customer requirements and budgets.
• Coordinate with the electrical shop to support design execution and resolve technical questions.
• Participate in engineering meetings and provide project status updates.
• Perform functional testing on panels and support FAT.
