The right candidate will collaborate across disciplines, develop design studies, and mentor junior engineers. We value strong communication, an ability to work in teams, and readiness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• At least 3 years' design experience for electrical systems (HV, switchgear, motors).
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to contribute individually and work well in teams.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contracts.
• Travel approximately 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
• Develop design studies, engineering calculations, and analyses.
• Prepare project meetings and assist with field walkdowns.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical excellence.
• Draft electrical equipment specifications and evaluate bids.
• Perform precise electrical calculations for designs and installations.
• Travel to project sites and participate in start-up activities.
• Lead and inspire teams toward project success.
