Job summary

CCA Professional Recruiting seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of electrical systems for offsite manufactured solutions, modular construction products, and architecture-driven manufactured products. The engineer will create detailed electrical layouts, schematics, 3D models, and documentation while applying Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of electrical design engineering experience.
Experience in construction, offsite/modular, or prefabricated systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation.
Proficient CAD/MCAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, CAD MEP, Rhino).
Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or BIM 360.
Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python, C#, VB.NET).

Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical layouts, drawings, schematics, and 3D models.
Support electrical systems for modular, prefabricated construction solutions.
Collaborate with customers, architects, engineers, and vendors.
Review designs for code, standards, and contract compliance.
Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, architectural, and manufacturing teams.
