Job summary

Reframe Systems is seeking a DFMA Project Engineer to ensure buildable designs from architecture through module release. You will join the Design Engineering team and translate design intent into factory-ready models, coordinating with architects, engineers, and field personnel.

The role blends hands-on construction knowledge with engineering and translation work, spending time on the model, in design reviews, and on the factory floor and sites to ensure successful module handoffs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on building background in carpentry, framing, or construction.
• Ability to read architectural/structural drawings.
• Familiar with CAD/BIM tools and able to navigate models.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the model reflects build reality from design through module release.
• Map build information into the model and define what each process requires.
• Review production plans, release readiness, and ensure module readiness for fabrication.
• Create handoff documentation and shop drawings for new processes.
• Provide hands-on support on the factory floor and at project sites.
