Job summary

You’ll work in a hybrid environment with on-site lab work and factory involvement to move designs into production. Hands-on lab testing, debugging, and production support are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of professional electrical engineering/design experience.
• Strong PCB design experience and high-current DC design.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Working knowledge of C and C++.
• Ability to produce complete schematics, layouts, BOMs, and docs.

Responsibilities

• Design PCBs from concept through production.
• Develop high-current DC circuits and systems.
• Select/integrate microcontrollers, sensors, and comms devices.
• Create electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Generate BOMs and production docs.
• Evaluate components for performance and cost.
• Build/test prototypes in the lab.
• Troubleshoot circuits and full systems.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers.
• Support transitions from engineering to production.
• Interact with sales/customers to define requirements.
