Job summary

gpac partnered with an industry leader in equipment manufacturing to seek an innovative Electrical Design Engineer. You will bridge concept and production, designing electrical systems, developing PCB schematics, and optimizing for manufacturability and testing.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring cutting‑edge products from prototype to full-scale manufacturing, ensuring robust design and regulatory compliance throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, OrCAD or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Strong understanding of DFM, PCB fabrication, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to perform simulations, FMEA and thorough failure analysis.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and multi project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, control systems, wiring harnesses, and PCB layouts.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and high assembly yields.
• Prototype, test, troubleshoot electrical designs and develop test fixtures.
• Create and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to integrate electrical components.
• Provide production support and address obsolescence and quality improvements.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
