Job summary

Industry Leader in Equipment Manufacturing is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to bridge concept and production. You will design electrical systems, develop PCB schematics, and optimize for manufacturability, testing, and quality.

Work with cross-functional teams to move products from prototype to full-scale manufacturing. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, OrCAD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of electrical design experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, OrCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Strong knowledge of DFM, PCB fabrication, and electronic testing.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, control systems, wiring harnesses, and PCB layouts.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and yields.
• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot electrical designs; develop test fixtures.
• Create and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing engineers on integration of electrical components.
• Support legacy and new product lines; evaluate obsolescence and failure modes.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
