Olsson seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer to join the Federal Engineering and Design Team. You will design electrical systems for federal facilities, gain exposure to UFC, DoD, VA requirements, and develop expertise in power distribution, lighting, and building systems.

You will work with licensed engineers, perform calculations, and use Revit/AutoCAD, with potential travel to project sites. Flexible work arrangements are offered as part of a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a Power concentration.
• Minimum of one year of engineering experience or internship.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Familiarity with electrical building systems and NEC is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist design of electrical systems for federal facilities (power distribution, lighting, grounding, communications).
• Perform calculations, layouts, and equipment selections under licensed engineers.
• Apply electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Use Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools for modeling and analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, civil, structural, and architectural domains.
