Job summary
The Toro Company’s Ditch Witch division in Perry, OK is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to research and design components and electrical/electronic systems for Ditch Witch products. You will use ECAD software to create schematics, supervise drafters, and collaborate with suppliers and engineers on innovative solutions.
The role requires a ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree, hands-on firmware work with microcontrollers, and experience with Linux applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
- Hands-on embedded firmware and microcontroller experience required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze technical information from engineers, product managers, suppliers, and tests.
- Maintain circuit design concepts for analog and digital systems.
- Design, implement, and test electrical circuits to meet specifications.
- Prepare technical design and production documentation.
- Develop desktop applications for Windows and Linux.
- Design for embedded Linux and bare-metal systems.
- Coordinate product sustaining activities with other departments.
- Evaluate new technologies and methods for existing products.
