Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer EIT/PE (Hybrid) to join our Salt Lake City team. The candidate should have 5–8+ years in engineering consulting and be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD for power and lighting systems.

We offer a base salary of $90,000–$145,000, strong benefits, generous PTO, flexible schedules, and 401k. EIT is required; PE preferred, with knowledge of local codes.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• EIT required; PE license desired.
• 5–8+ years of experience in designing and managing MEP projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Experience designing power and lighting systems for complex buildings.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead projects.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Prepare calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.

Electrical Design Engineer EIT/PE (Hybrid)

We are seeking Electrical Engineer to join our Team. Successful candidates will 5-8+ years of Engineering Consulting experience. Ideal candidates will have experience with engineering consulting firms, electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for institutional and commercial buildings, as well as proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• EIT Required, PE License Desired
• 5-8+ years of experience in designing and managing MEP Projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit Software
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
• Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Experience with Educational, Healthcare, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, and Civic/Institutional/Municipal Projects.
• Ability to mentor junior level staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated familiarity with Local Building Codes & Standards.
• Strong technical leadership and management skills.

Preferred, Not Required

• LEED Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process
• Experience and interest in sustainable building design.
