Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an engineer to design and verify electrical distribution for data centers and other mission-critical facilities. You will own studies, specify equipment, and work end-to-end with field teams to keep builds on schedule.

Responsibilities include running load flow and short-circuit studies, developing switchgear, transformers, UPS and busway specs, and supporting energization on designs you drew. Candidates should be adept with ETAP or SKM and NEC knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer data center electrical distribution in the reference design: medium voltage through busway to the rack.
  • Run the studies: load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash owned in ETAP or SKM.
  • Develop equipment specs: switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway packages evaluated and integrated.
  • Support builds: field questions answered same-day, as-built deltas engineered back into the reference.
