Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring an Electrical Distribution Engineer to design and verify data-center electrical distribution from medium voltage through to rack level, running critical studies and developing equipment specs.

You will support energization, provide field answers, and ensure built designs align with the reference design using ETAP/SKM depth, UPS expertise, and NEC mastery. This role is based on-site in Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

• Designed electrical distribution for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Run studies and justify settings in designs.
• Specify and evaluate major distribution equipment.
• Ensure energization of designs is supported.

Responsibilities

• Engineer data center electrical distribution in the reference design: medium voltage through busway to the rack.
• Run the studies: load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash in ETAP or SKM.
• Develop equipment specs for switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway packages.
• Support builds: field questions answered same-day, as-built deltas integrated into the reference design.
