Job summary

Flowtec Group is seeking two Electrical Design Engineers for our Boston and Burlington offices. You will design electrical systems for building projects, carry drawings and calculations from concept through construction documents, and coordinate with MEP teams and clients.

PE license is not required; hands-on design experience in New England with knowledge of Massachusetts codes and strong Revit/AutoCAD skills are valued. You may be based in either office on projects across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Several years of electrical design experience in building services.
• MEP consultancy background strongly preferred.
• Experience working in New England, with knowledge of Massachusetts codes.
• Confident with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Able to work in either the Boston or the Burlington office.

Responsibilities

• Designing electrical systems for building projects: power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and associated systems
• Producing drawings, calculations and specifications through to construction documents
• Coordinating with mechanical, plumbing and architectural teams
• Working with clients and contractors through design, submittals and construction administration
• Supporting project delivery with a team that works across both offices
