Job summary

Our client is an employee-owned architecture and engineering firm seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for labs, schools, and commercial buildings. The role involves producing construction documents, coordinating with architects and engineers, and supporting projects through construction administration.

The position can be based in Cambridge, MA, Providence, RI, or Manchester, NH with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required.
• 5+ years of building electrical design experience.
• PE preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of building and electrical codes.
• Experience with Revit.

Their architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and building systems engineers work in the same firm and on the same project teams. Their work covers higher education, K-12, life sciences, technology, government, and workplace projects. They are adding a mid-level electrical engineer to their engineering group.

The role

The Electrical Engineer handles the electrical design on labs, schools and universities, and commercial and institutional buildings, from early design through construction.

The position can be based in the firm's Cambridge, MA, Providence, RI, or Manchester, NH office, with a hybrid schedule.
