Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants, PA is seeking a Design Engineer to lead electrical design on several projects in Fort Collins, CO. You will develop engineering solutions using BIM/CAD tools and prepare deliverables that meet PEC's high standards.

The role involves design calculations, compliance with codes, coordination with the design team, and contributing to submittals, RFIs, and site investigations. Strong communication and independence are valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited program
Experience with BIM/CAD software and project deliverables
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to perform design and takeoff calculations both by hand and using software

Responsibilities

Perform engineering design and coordinate with other staff for construction documents and specifications
Review submittals, site investigations, and RFIs under Project Engineer guidance
Conduct design and takeoff calculations using software
Organize multiple projects and deliverables per PEC standards
Coordinate information and files according to corporate workflows
Communicate effectively with the design team to complete tasks on multiple projects
