Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) seeks a Project Engineer to design on multiple projects, lead other design professionals, and collaborate across disciplines to develop engineering solutions for PEC’s clients. The role uses BIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based analyses to deliver high-quality design deliverables.

You will prepare and review plans, support proposals and cost estimates, supervise staff, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with codes

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of engineering experience.
• B.S. degree in engineering from an accredited college.
• PE license in the location of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering plans and drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Perform and/or direct engineering design and coordination with other staff for construction documents and specifications.
• Mentor, train and develop less experienced staff.
• Participate in business development activities and client relationship building.
