Job summary

Talos Automation in Warren, Michigan, seeks an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer with 3+ years in automation to lead electrical design, wiring, and pneumatic systems. You will collaborate with Electrical, Controls, and Mechanical teams to develop electrical prints and lifecycle documentation.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizing detailed information, and serving as a technical reference for Controls and Electrical teams throughout projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of electrical or controls experience, automotive integration preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Designs electrical and pneumatic systems and lifecycle documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design team to produce electrical packages for customer projects.
• Represent Electrical in customer meetings; present designs and address requirements.
• Maintain quality standards and safety compliance for electrical/pneumatic designs.
• Oversee redline changes with manufacturing and authorize markups.
• Inspect wiring and electrical assemblies for compliance with prints and safety standards.
• Complete and submit required customer electrical documentation.
