Job summary

DSG is hiring an Electrical Counter/Inside Sales Associate for our Watertown, SD location. This full-time hourly role supports the Inside Sales team and City Desk, helping to grow electrical sales in the Watertown area.

Typical day includes facilitating orders, answering product questions, generating quotes, and providing technical support. The schedule is generally 8pm–5pm, Monday through Friday, with variation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college/technical training or 3–5 years field experience in electrical residential/commercial applications.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary facilitator for customer orders.
• Assist customers with product inquiries in a professional manner.
• Write and occasionally help fill orders accurately and promptly.
• Generate customer quotations and follow up on quotes.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support.
• Collaborate with sales team to resolve customer service issues promptly.
• Restock the counter area by product brand and location.
• Monitor inventory and Cull damaged product.
• Maintain a clean and appealing counter display area.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
