Job summary

DSG is seeking an Electrical Counter/Inside Sales Associate in Watertown, SD. This full-time hourly role supports customer orders, product inquiries, and technical help, while growing electrical sales at the City Desk and Inside Sales teams.

Typical hours align with evening to morning shifts (8pm–5pm) on weekdays, with flexibility. A high school diploma or equivalent and ERP/tech knowledge are preferred; ESOP benefits and comprehensive compensation await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of college/technical training OR 3–5 years in electrical product field experience.
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task.
• ERP systems experience; Eclipse preferred.
• Plan, prioritize and organize work effectively; physically lift 30–70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary facilitator for customer orders.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide timely quotations.
• Write and fill orders accurately; process quotes and follow up as needed.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers.
• Collaborate with the sales team to resolve service issues quickly.
• Restock counter area and monitor inventory; manage damaged items.
• Maintain a clean, appealing counter display and promote additional products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
