Dakota Supply Group in Watertown, SD is seeking a full-time Electrical Counter/Inside Sales Associate to support electrical sales from the City Desk and Inside Sales department.

Responsibilities include processing orders, answering product questions, generating quotes, and providing technical support. A high school diploma or 2+ years of related education/experience is required, with strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to lift 30–70 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of college/technical school or 3-5 years field experience in residential/commercial electrical applications.
• Strong relationship building and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication across in-person, phone, and email.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Good listening to determine customer needs.
• Proficiency with computers, Eclipse or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary facilitator for customer orders.
• Assist customers with product inquiries professionally.
• Write or assist in filling orders accurately and promptly.
• Generate and follow up on customer quotations.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support.
• Collaborate with sales team to resolve issues.
• Restock counter area per brand/location.
