Job summary

Rexel USA in New Haven, CT is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service and assist customers with purchases and returns. You will help drive electrical distribution sales while keeping the showroom stocked and organized.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service or sales, preferably in a branch environment, and a High School diploma or GED. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Previous branch experience preferred.
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized
• Assist with warehouse functions as needed, including receiving, shipping, stocking, and deliveries
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge
• Assist inside sales as needed
• Inform manager of any potentially hazard or elevated situation pertaining to safety or the satisfaction of a customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
