Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone or in person to receive orders for products.
• Solicits sale of new or additional products.
• Maintain positive interpersonal relations and courteous customer interactions.
• Serve as liaison between customer and QED departments (credit, warehouse, outside sales, management).
• Identify merchandise needs by product knowledge, catalog references and pricing points.
• Provide quotes or estimates for prices, terms and delivery for standard or complex items.
• Prepare sales tickets with customer and order details for processing and delivery.
• Estimate delivery dates based on firm schedules and internal data.
