Job summary

Capital Electric in Moncks Corner, SC, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a Counter Sales associate to sell products, assist customers with selection, and build relationships. The role requires basic math, customer service aptitude and knowledge of MS Office. Training on electrical products is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred; training offered.
• Good math, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer phone calls.
• Greet walk-in customers.
• Assist customer with orders and product selection.
• Pick customer orders from warehouse and bring to counter.
• Prepare customer sales tickets and charge accordingly.
• Promote and sell company promotions.
• Provide assistance to warehouse functions.
• Reach monthly sales and gross margin goals.
• Maintain courtesy and professionalism with customers.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as required.
