Job summary

Capital Electric, a division of the Sonepar group, seeks a Counter Sales associate at our Apex, NC location. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and process orders at the counter.

This full-time role offers training in electrical product lines, opportunities for growth within a global distributor, and a benefits package including healthcare, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred, but training provided.
• Good math, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer phone calls and greet walk-in customers.
• Assist customers with product selection and process orders at the counter.
• Pull customer orders from warehouse and prepare sales tickets.
• Promote and sell promotions and provide excellent customer service.
• Support warehouse functions as needed and help reach monthly sales goals.
