Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Counter Sales associate for the Moncks Corner, SC location. You will sell electrical products, assist customers with product selection, and build relationships to keep Capital Electric as the distributor of choice.

Responsibilities include handling calls, greeting customers, processing orders, and promoting promotions, with opportunities to grow within the Sonepar family and enjoy strong employee benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred, but training available.
• Good math, verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer phone calls.
• Greet walk-in customers and assist with product selection.
• Assist customers with orders and prepare sales tickets.
• Pick orders from warehouse and bring to counter.
• Promote and sell promotions; support warehouse functions.
• Meet monthly sales and gross margin goals.
• Maintain courtesy and multi-task throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as required.
