Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Counter Sales Representative for our Mayer Team in Atlanta, GA. You will provide prompt, courteous service to customers, help process orders or returns, and support showroom maintenance and stock replenishment.

You will work closely with the branch team to grow electrical distribution sales, build new relationships, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed. A high school diploma or GED and prior customer service or sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Previous branch experience preferred.
• High School or GED - Required.
• Electrical product knowledge and experience in lighting, switchgear, controls, and electrical commodities preferred.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships.
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized.
• Assist with warehouse functions as needed, including receiving, shipping, stocking, and deliveries.
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge.
• Assist inside sales as needed.
• Inform manager of any potentially hazardous or elevated safety or customer-satisfaction situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
