Job summary

Crawford, a Crawford Electric/Sonepar USA subsidiary, is seeking a Counter Sales Associate for the RDC/Branch location. You will engage customers, understand product needs, and assist with pricing, ordering, and delivery coordination.

Responsibilities include using Eclipse for pricing, handling cash/credit transactions, and promoting branch promotions while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more of related experience.
• Basic electrical product knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and calculate discounts/commissions.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determines merchandise needs by becoming familiar with products and reference materials.
• Uses Eclipse for pricing and order entry.
• Prepares cash or charge sales tickets with required ID and processing information.
• Estimates delivery dates based on the company delivery schedule.
• Pulls and loads customer materials as necessary.
• Handles customer and coworker issues with diplomacy and seeks management assistance when needed.
• Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly.
• Describes and demonstrates products using samples or catalogs showing features and benefits.
• Sells and promotes branch and company-wide promotions as directed.
