Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply is a branch of the Sonepar group, seeking a customer-focused associate to join the team. You will learn product lines, use pricing catalogs and the Eclipse system to process sales and orders, and help deliver materials to customers efficiently.

The role emphasizes accurate ticketing, timely delivery estimates, and professional interaction with customers and co-workers, including handling issues diplomatically and promoting store promotions.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle unit conversions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and business documents.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Basic electrical product knowledge and six months related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Determines type of merchandise by familiarizing with products and catalogs.
• Uses Eclipse program for pricing and order entry.
• Prepares sales tickets with required ID and processing information.
• Estimates delivery dates based on the delivery schedule.
• Pulls and loads customer materials as needed.
• Handles customer and coworker issues with diplomacy and escalation when needed.
• Resolves order problems and promotes promotions as directed.
