Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, a Sonepar USA company, seeks a Counter Sales Associate to serve contractors and walk-in customers at the RDC/Branch. You will help customers, process orders in Eclipse, and coordinate delivery while maintaining accuracy and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal communication is required.
• Ability to perform math functions including additions, subtractions, multiplications and divisions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and technical documents.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Six months or more of related experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Determine customer merchandise needs by learning products and using reference materials.
• Use Eclipse for pricing and order entry.
• Prepare sales tickets with proper ID and processing details.
• Estimate delivery date based on schedule.
• Pull and load customer materials as needed.
• Resolve customer issues with diplomacy and escalate when needed.
• Explain products using samples or catalogs to highlight features and benefits.
• Promote branch promotions as directed.
