Job summary

Hill International Inc. in Berkeley, CA is seeking an Electrical Coordinator to manage relocation of electrical and electronic systems. Responsibilities include coordinating cross‑functional teams, leading planning meetings, arranging temporary power, testing and commissioning, and ensuring thorough project closeout documentation.

The role requires strong communication, field experience, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders while maintaining safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating electrical construction activities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain QEW certification.
• Ability to obtain RI qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical scope for relocation of electrical and electronic systems.
• Coordinate electrical work across engineering, construction, operations, facilities, safety organizations, and subcontractors.
• Lead electrical planning and coordination meetings.
• Coordinate temporary construction power.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Support project closeout.
• Document field verification records and turnover information.
• Prepare lockout/tagout plans and related coordination records.
• Create job safety plans, work orders, and construction packages.
• Produce periodic status reports for project leadership.
