Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking an Electrical/Controls Technical Support role in Locust Grove, GA. You will join a technical team supporting plant production, resolving downtime and improving machines and processes.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting work, and coaching staff. A 2-year technical degree and automation experience are preferred. On-call after hours may be required to support 24/7 production.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent required or in progress.
• Experience in automation/electrical field preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for process and machine automation.
• Proven ability in process improvement and problem solving.
• Familiar with Rockwell Automation PLCs and PLC software operations.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems and perform root cause analysis with team and suppliers.
• Develop and implement improvements to machines and processes.
• Provide technical support to engineers, maintenance, and operations
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of the functional area
• Ensure work minimizes downtime and supports 24/7 production on rotation
• Coach and train less experienced staff on technical topics
