Job summary

Kodak Corp in Rochester, NY is seeking an Electrical and Controls Mechanic to support our Advanced Materials division. The role involves repairing, maintaining, installing, and improving film manufacturing and processing equipment with focus on electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities include calibrating instruments, troubleshooting PLC-based controls, and ensuring compliance with safety and ISO documentation.

Qualifications

Dependable with good attendance.
Detail oriented team player.
Strong electrical and/or instrumentation training/experience.
Proficient in Math functions.
Able to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings.
Able to read/modify PLC programs (a plus).
Understanding of electrical codes for hazardous environments (a plus).
Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize safety.

Responsibilities

Repair, maintain, install and improve film manufacturing equipment, processing equipment and building systems.
Calibrate process control instruments to tight tolerances.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment; read drawings and PLC programs.
Maintain motors, drives, wiring, lighting and controls; install upgrades.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance; document ISO procedures.
