Job summary

The ICE Technician at CONSOLIDATED ASSET MANAGEMENT SERVICES JUNIPER (TEXAS), LLC in Temple, TX will analyze electrical problems, repair and overhaul electrical equipment and controls, calibrate valves, level and flow instrumentation, and troubleshoot PLC programming and DCS issues. Dismantling and installing machinery as needed.

The Temple facility comprises two 766MW blocks with Siemens turbines and generators; the role requires extensive field work, reading data sheets and schematics, and

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in instruments and controls of electrical applications.
• Must repair control valves and positioners.
• Must troubleshoot and repair low voltage electrical control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and calibrate instruments that measure process variables.
• Interpret data sheets, vendor manuals, and diagrams; prepare simple drawings.
• Understand digital control systems, valves, transmitters, and transducers.
• Configure digital transmitters and test assemblies to specs.
• Disassemble, test, and repair instruments; replace defective parts.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and assist in budget planning.
