Job summary

Hormel Foods Corporation in Tucker, GA is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician responsible for programming and troubleshooting the plant’s electrical systems. Overtime and weekend work are required, and the role may cover multiple shifts.

You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance on production equipment, read schematics, and implement modifications to improve reliability, safety, and efficiency while coordinating with supervisors and maintenance engineers.

Qualifications

High school education or the equivalent.
Experience with basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, contacts, relays).
Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting).
Ability to utilize product manuals and schematics to repair equipment.

Responsibilities

Program and troubleshoot plant electrical systems.
Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on production equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Modify existing equipment to meet production needs and improve reliability.
Operate forklifts and use computers for job tasks.
Work overtime and weekends; cover multiple shifts as needed.
