Qualifications

• High school education or the equivalent.
• Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays).
• Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting).
• Ability to utilize product manuals to make repairs.
• Ability to utilize schematics (electrical blueprints).
• Troubleshooting electrical breakdowns and diagnostics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience as Electronics Technician or related field or technical school training.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot the plant’s electrical systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Possess the ability to work with minimal supervision to identify and solve problems.
• Communicate progress to Supervisors and Maintenance Engineers.
• Drive a forklift per company standards and use computers for tasks.
• Maintain electrical records, schematics, and PLC/PC backups.
• Develop and implement modifications to improve equipment operations and reliability.
• Provide direction and training for less skilled maintenance personnel.
• Participate in cross-functional teams such as safety and energy conservation.
