Job summary

Faribault Foods, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to operate and troubleshoot existing electrical and control systems in our Faribault, MN facility. You will work 1:45pm to 10:15pm, Monday through Friday, on-site, collaborating with maintenance and engineering to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required, plus 1–2 years related experience.
• College electronics/controls coursework preferred.
• Hands-on PLC controls experience required.
• Proficient with PLC and HMI controls.
• Microsoft Windows proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and improve analog/digital control systems and PLCs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering for improvement projects.
• Document work orders and system modifications.
• Install and maintain process control instruments.
• Ensure safety, quality, and proper equipment documentation.
• Monitor software versions and licenses.
• Attend training to expand knowledge.
