Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks an Electrical/Control Systems Technician to maintain and improve production equipment in a food manufacturing environment. You will document electrical and control systems, diagnose issues with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms, and coordinate maintenance across shifts.

Responsibilities include safe inspections, preventive maintenance, and updating work orders while ensuring GMP, safety, and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Background in complete machine and electrical control system installation.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical or control-related issues with others.
• Provide training and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on batching and continuous process control systems.
• Keep accurate work records per work orders and backlog.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality standards, and company procedures.
