Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a Supervisory Electrical Maintenance professional in Middletown, OH. You will supervise 5-20 Electronic Repairmen, lead troubleshooting, and develop plans for equipment improvements to ensure safe, efficient operations.

This role requires a background in electrical engineering or technology, and PLC troubleshooting experience, with on-call duties for nights and weekends as needed. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
• 3 years of control systems and PLC experience preferred.
• Willingness to support a 24/7 operating environment, including on-call nights/weekends.
• Experience as an electronic technician and supervisory experience over electronic technicians considered.
• Management experience of electronic technicians in installation, troubleshooting and calibration preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems.
• PLC troubleshooting with Rockwell ControlLogix or Siemens PLC Series 5/7 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of 5-20 Electronic Repairmen to provide preventive and maintenance services safely and efficiently.
• Lead and assist in system troubleshooting; determine root causes and implement solutions to stop recurrence.
• Provide troubleshooting support to electrical technicians after hours when needed.
• Maintain and improve electrical documentation.
• Develop long and short-term plans for equipment improvements.
• Plan outages and upgrades; assist contractors during these plans.
• Communicate issues and solutions clearly to Operations and EM&C managers.
