Actalent is seeking a Controls Engineer in Tennessee to develop detailed electrical specifications and control system architectures for advanced R&D facilities. You will program and test PLC and HMI solutions, primarily using Rockwell platforms, and provide support during on-site installation and commissioning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering with at least one year of related experience, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
1+ year of experience in controls or electrical engineering.
Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC and FactoryTalk HMI programming.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical specifications and design control system architectures for complex R&D facilities.
Program and test PLC/HMI solutions (Rockwell platforms) and support on-site installation and commissioning.
