LT Staffing Inc. is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer with 3–10 years of experience programming PLCs and implementing HMIs for OEM environments. Proficiency in Rockwell Automation and AutoCAD is required, with no relocation offered for this role.

The position involves designing electrical and mechanical control systems for industrial machinery, performing field service, and supporting production from concept to completion. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent industry experience is required.
• 3–10 years of experience programming various PLC platforms and implementing HMIs in an OEM environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Allen-Bradley PLC and Rockwell tools; knowledge of Rockwell programming is expected.
• Ability to size electrical components and identify proper devices and their application.
• Basic understanding of safety circuits, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Strong communication, organizational and computer skills including MS Office, Rockwell, AutoCAD Electrical, Fanuc CNC and Robotics.
• Other PLC platforms (Siemens, Omron, Yaskawa) a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and evaluate mechanical and electrical devices and systems per NEC, NFPA, UL; use AutoCAD for layouts.
• Analyze design approaches to meet production requirements for new or upgraded products.
• Take machine design from concept to production through upgrades.
• Advise on technical aspects of design as needed.
• Conduct hands-on electrical start-ups including setup, programming and debugging.
• Perform field service and installation at customer sites.
