Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain industrial control systems focused on PLC and HMI programming, control panel design, and system integration in Tempe, AZ.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience with AllenBradley PLCs (ControlLogix/CompactLogix), Studio 5000/RSLogix, and FactoryTalk, plus strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering.
3+ years of industrial controls experience with hands-on PLC programming and commissioning.
Proven experience with AllenBradley PLCs (ControlLogix/CompactLogix) and HMI software.

Responsibilities

Design and develop PLC and HMI/SCADA control systems for machinery and processes.
Program, test, and commission PLCs (AllenBradley) and HMI projects.
Create and maintain electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and BOMs.
Integrate sensors, drives, motors, and field devices; configure industrial networks.
Perform FAT/SAT and support field commissioning at customer sites.
Troubleshoot issues and provide on-site technical support.
