Job summary

FutureJobHub is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to support manufacturing operations through controls engineering, testing, automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ years of controls/testing experience.

You will work with Rockwell software, RSLogix, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE, programming PLC/HMI systems and modifying PLC programs while ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of Controls/Test Engineering experience.
• Experience with Rockwell Software, RSLogix, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
• Strong PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of safety systems design.
• Ability to modify PLC programs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
• Must live within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, install, and troubleshoot production/test equipment and controls.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems and electrical controls.
• Develop testing protocols, equipment specifications, and SQL/production system interfaces.
• Perform root-cause and failure analysis.
• Support capital equipment selection and cost-out initiatives.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, suppliers, and customers.
