Job summary

Axon LLC is seeking a Design Engineer to design control panels and electrical systems for packaging machines. You will prepare technical drawings, schematics, and BOMs, ensure compliance with UL/NEMA/CE, and collaborate with Sales, Production, and Field Services.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, supporting installation and start-up, and writing maintenance procedures. Strong CAD skills and PLC/HMI knowledge are required, with 3+ years in electrical design and a BS in Electrical

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering; Masters preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years in electrical design and/or application engineering.
• Familiar with UL, NEMA and CE code.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and issue electrical schematics for panels and control systems.
• Prepare drawings and BOMs; ensure conformance to codes and customer specs.
• Troubleshoot during manufacturing and testing; provide on-site support as needed.
• Revise designs to meet deadlines and project objectives; coordinate with teams.
• Create maintenance procedures and manage project documentation.
